Ship Tileset

Have you ever wanted to have ships in your game that can be facing different directions, but most tilesets that you find have two directions at most? Or did you ever want to build ships of different types, sizes and forms, but most ship tilesets can't be used like that because they are too limited? 

Then this is the tileset for you! 

This is a  very versatile tileset that can be used to make ships or boats of greatly varying shapes and sizes and facing  all 4 main directions. Want to build a typical large trading ship? No problem. How about a tiny fishing boat? You got it! Want to build some fantasy style air ship or a sand glider? It's all in the cards with these tiles. 

Since this tileset is somewhat of a build-your-own-ship thing rather than a cookie-cutter ship that you can drag onto your map, assembling a ship is a bit more work on the mapping part. The tiles are essentially modular building blocks that you can use to build endless variations of ships. Since I know that this is not everyones cup of tea, I have also included some pre-assembled ship bodies that you can garnish with the sails and decorations of your choosing.

The tiles are 32x32 in size. I originally inteded to make the tiles for RPG Maker XP, but currently the tileset format is not compatible with the engine as is. Feel free to edit the tiles yourself if you want to use them in RMXP right now. Once I have finished all the tiles, I will also make a RMXP compatible version for easy plug and play.

I have included some animated tiles that can be used to add animated water and beach waves.

Right now this is still a work in progress and a lot of tiles are still to be added, such as boughs, sideboats, different types of sails and more decorational elements.
